Steady BM no sting

[:1]Lately I'v been fiddling around with BM rot, stats and such and noticed that this build (my talent) has had some interesting results in fights.

start off with 3 arcane shots and a kill command, pop rapid fire, 4 steady shots arcane and KC, and so forth... then when the rapid fire wears off, use BW and spam KC and arcane, afterwards, constantly keep focus fire up + improved steady shot doing 3 steady, 1/2 arcane and KC rotations.

in raid/group fights i'v been constantly getting higher numbers than cobra/serpent sting builds.

and it also displayed a higher number in femaledwarf for me.

oh ya.. one down side, your bow will break very fast =\
for me, im getting 23k dps for MM and 22k dps for BM on FD

This has already been theorycrafted and proven to be bad.
3000dps loss is an assumed loss. It assumes you play whatever setup to its fullest potential. The OP is saying that they noticed their dps go up by using it. That tells me that they simply do better playing this particular setup better than they did with the last.
So let me get this straight.

In lieu of firing one Serpent Sting shot at beginning of fight (for only one GCD) and have it constantly refreshed by a spammed shot that ignores armor (cobra shot), you're using no sting and a spam shot that has to deal with armor while its only helping talent is improved steady shot (which simply gives some extra auto-shots).

Is this what you're saying?

And, are you trying to tell us this is more damage than the current way?
Having ISS as BM could yield higher dps over a cobra shot rotation with a good enough ranged weapon, cobra shot doesn't do that much more damage than steady shot outside of the survival tree. He is firing 15% more auto shots with ISS and that 15% could close the gap between cobra and steady, you'll also generate more focus and you can use KC in-between your steady shots to keep ISS up.

If X is given equal to 2 and you state that X = 2 because it is given, isn't that proving X to equal 2?
This is a pretty horrible idea, why would you not just use both Steady and Cobra shot if you were gonna try this? I run with a crackpot build like this and it's really pretty easy to keep both
serpent sting and ISS up when you are doing 1.04-1.06 steady shots(Depending on how much pathing I feel like taking, normally I'd have sick'em if it wasn't for that one thing anyways)
Even before having 4 piece set bonus I could still keep both up pretty easy.

Too bad new crappy set bonus and complete lack of haste is gonna make it infeasible either way in T12 though, was kinda hoping to get it down to 1.0 cast speed base in better gear.

P.S. FD sucks, it can't even sim using both =(.

Steady Shot is a dps loss period end of statement. For max dps

Bestial Wrath
Kill Command
Arcane Shot till Kill Command Again
Arcane Shot till Wrath over

Serpent Sting
Pop Rapid Fire + whatever trinks or racials you have
Cobra shot/Arcane Shot/Kill command rotation till Wrath up again rinse repeat.
