[:1]According to the MM sticky I'm at the first hunter haste plateau (9.63%). I'm at 9.5% from gear and +1% from racial and I don't have T11. So according to the sticky I should NOT be using the Chimera Shot glyph. However, when I load up into female dwarf and change that glyph to either aimed shot glyph or rapid fire I get a 500-600 DPS loss.
Am I looking at or doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Female Dwarf also shows the Chimera Glyph as a DPS increase for me when I replace the Kill Shot glyph. However, I ran with the Chimera Glyph for about a week in-game and I found the rotation to be unsustainable. I was either unable to generate the focus necessary to use CS/ArS in a consistent manner or I was unable to use CS on cooldown due to SS cast times.
There is an in-depth post on EJ by Whitefyst about Haste and why this option is not good. For some reason, though, it sims well in FD.
In theory, femaledwarf.com is correct. However in reality, it can be off by uncertain portion depending on situation.
If you are not in 4xT11, I'd personally suggest u to not hard cast AiS, because it is very clunky and as said without enough haste, focus regen can be unpredictable. Glyph in CS and not hard cast AiS will keep up SrS and more AS can make up for the dps lose provided by AiS so to minimize dps gap if any.
